All About Mrs. Clayton
My name is Mrs. Clayton. This will be my 15th year teaching in the best grade level EVER...Kindergarten!! As a child, I always dreamed of teaching, teaching Kindergarten, and teaching at Charleston! As a graduate of Charleston High School, I knew one day I would love to return.
After graduating from Lee University in December 2005, I received a 2nd grade teaching job in Bradley County. That August, I began teaching at Charleston Elementary in Kindergarten!!! What a blessing!!!
Being the first teacher that gets to touch a child's education is truly an honor. I love the true curiosity of the students. When they see the light go off in their learning, it is a blessing! My teaching includes many hands on activities and whole group activities! My true love is running literacy stations with my students.
Along with teaching, I am a wife and mother. My husband, Matt, and I married in June 2006. We love sports, outdoors, and spending time together. We have two children. Turner and Harper are growing up too fast! It is amazing how fast time passes! Our kids are our world! God has truly blessed us!
