Teacher Bio

Welcome to the gym!  This is where the fun happens.  I have a special interest in my job here at CES because this is also my home school.  I attended Charleston from kindergarten until I graduated high school in 1994.  Yes, it was a K-12 school, and I was here through it all.  Both my parents, myself, my wife, and now both of my kids have attended Charleston.

 

I went to UT-Chattanooga to play football and decided to be a teacher and coach.  I began teaching in 2001.  After stops at Blue Springs, Waterville, and Michigan Avenue elementary schools, I came back home to Charleston. Through the years I have coached baseball and football at Ocoee Middle, football at Walker Valley, and basketball and archery here at Charleston.

 

I love teaching PE at this age level.  The kids have so much fun, and they don't even realize they are learning the basic skills, coordination, and fundamentals they need to develop physically and mentally to live a long and healthy life.  Ask your child what they learned in PE today!
