Hello Charleston Panthers!!

My name is Katie Cooper and I am the Special Education Teacher here at Charleston Elementary STEAM Academy. I went to Lee University and graduated in May 2018 with my degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I began my first year of teaching at Charleston in the fall of 2018.

I have enjoyed getting involved with extracurricular activities at Charleston. I am the cheer coach and I have loved going to games and being apart of school spirit. It has been a blessing being able to jump right into the Charleston family.

I LOVE my job and the Charleston community. Since I was in elementary school, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher... It is so much better than I could have ever imagined!

I am excited for this amazing school year!!!
