I graduated from Lee University in December of 2020 and joined the Charleston family in Spring of 2021. I had the privilege of student teaching here and I fell in love with the community. It was a dream to be welcomed back here and begin my teaching career at the best school in the county.
Teaching is what the Lord has called me to do. It is so fulfilling to serve my students and see them grow. However, the reason I teach is because I want each student that walks in my class to know they are loved. They matter. They are valued. They have endless potential. I believe it is critical to build relationships with each student if I want to see them grow. My desire is that each of my students know that I care about them, not only when they are in my classroom, but as well as when they leave. I care about them as a whole person and I want to support them in any way I can.
I am smart. I am kind. I am important. I can do hard things. And Miss Plant loves me!
